A section of the East Wing that’s been modified and expanded multiple times since the early 20th century. For someone who presides over a state where historical buildings are regularly vandalized during left-wing protests, you’d think he’d have a little more self-awareness. This is a privately funded project to improve the functionality of a space that regularly hosts heads of state, veterans, educators, law enforcement officers, Gold Star families, and many others. Even funnier? If Trump were actually doing something improper, the Democrats wouldn’t hesitate for a moment. We’ve already seen what they’re capable of—two impeachments in four years, remember? But this time, instead of legal action, we get Instagram graphics and panicked think pieces about ballroom drapes. It’s all noise. All theater.
