NYC Arrest Man After Stabbing

A gruesome scene unfolded in a Bronx apartment building early Friday morning after a man was seen pushing his grandmother out of a first-floor window.

The 88-year-old woman was found bleeding from her face and lying on the pavement after her grandson had allegedly slashed his mother several times. A disturbing video of the incident was later obtained by The Post.

The footage shows the grandmother hanging out of the window at 1812 Clay Ave. around 7 a.m. Friday. She appears to be speaking to her 61-year-old daughter, who stands on the sidewalk below covered in blood.

Moments later, two hands can be seen shoving the elderly woman from the window. Her body slowly eases out of the opening before tumbling onto the pavement. She then rolls over and appears to be bleeding from her nose and mouth.

Ernest Thompson, the building’s superintendent, and other onlookers were shocked and outraged at the scene.

“I ran out and I saw her neck and side mutilated,” Thompson said. “So I told her, ‘Wait for me. I’m going to get compression to put on your wounds.’ Before I had a chance to get a few feet away her son was pushing his grandmother directly out of the window.”

Both the mother and grandmother were taken to the hospital in stable condition. Brown-haired, bearded Randy Sierra, 38, was found inside the building with a self-inflicted stabbed wound to his chest. He was taken to the same hospital in critical condition and has since been charged with assault.

According to the grandmother, her grandson had been “poking her” before pushing her out of the window. She had opened the window to cry for help.

Thompson, who witnessed the incident, said he was devastated. “To see my tenant, which is one of my best tenants, put into such despair, I don’t know how to react,” he said. “I haven’t digested it yet. I haven’t been able to process it yet. This is still not even 48 hours old. I’m trying to pray for her and hope she’s well, both of them.”
