Reports Details Biden Admin Ceasefire Deals Attempts

Joe Biden’s response to the murder of six hostages, including American Hersh Goldberg-Polin, by Hamas has been nothing short of shocking.

Rather than condemning Hamas, a known terrorist group responsible for the massacre of over 1,100 people on October 7, Biden chose to attack Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, accusing him of not doing enough. This, despite the fact that Biden has repeatedly stood in Netanyahu’s way of decisively finishing off Hamas.

Biden’s continual pressure on Israel doesn’t just weaken our ally—it emboldens Hamas. Every time the administration demands concessions or applies pressure on Israel, Hamas sees it as leverage to up the ante, making more demands and issuing new threats. And the latest report from Axios shows just how blind the Biden administration is to this reality.

According to the report, Biden’s team was “shocked” that Hamas executed hostages, including Goldberg-Polin. The question is, why? This is a group that slaughtered over a thousand innocent civilians, including Americans.

How could anyone be surprised that they would continue their violent tactics? Biden’s team also seemed unprepared for Hamas to escalate their demands and threats, now pushing for even more prisoners to be released as part of any deal.

In previous negotiations, Hamas agreed to the release of 150 Palestinian prisoners in exchange for hostages. Now, they want more. And what’s worse, they’re threatening to execute more hostages if their demands aren’t met. Yet Biden and his team continue to push Israel to make concessions, leading to a never-ending cycle where Hamas feels incentivized to commit more atrocities, knowing that pressure on Israel will only increase.

The current deal being discussed involves Israel releasing hundreds of prisoners in exchange for hostages, along with a ceasefire and increased humanitarian aid to Gaza. But this so-called “deal” is a trap.

It signals to Hamas that every murder, every execution, will only lead to more concessions from the international community. Netanyahu, in response, rightfully expressed disbelief at Biden’s demands for more concessions, pointing out the absurdity of rewarding terrorists for killing hostages.
