Colorado Dentist In Custody For Horrific Crimes Alleged By Police Officials

Police officials out of Aurora, Colorado, have officially arrested an area dentist on charges of murdering his wife, who police reports claim was poisoned.

45-year-old James Toliver Craig, was officially arrested this past Sunday by police officers out of the Aurora Police Department’s Major Crimes Homicide Unit, explained the department in a press release. He has reportedly been booked into an area county jail on charges of first-degree murder.

Police state that back on March 15 at roughly 8:45 p.m., Craid took his 43-year-old wife out to a local hospital in the wake of her complaining of very severe headaches and dizziness. Almost directly after they arrives, the woman started to rapidly spiral downward and was put onto a ventilator inside of the intensive care unit. Just a short while after that event the woman was officially declared medically brain dead.

Police officials at first suspected foul play and kicked off their own investigation surrounding the death. They soon found that the woman had been severely poisoned, allegedly by her husband at that. Law enforcement officers arrested the husband shortly after doctors took his wife off life support.

“When the suspicious details of this case came to light, our team of officers and homicide detectives tirelessly worked to uncover the truth behind the victim’s sudden illness and death,” expressed a statement from Division Chief Mark Hildebrand.

“It was quickly discovered this was in fact a heinous, complex and calculated murder. I am very proud of our Major Crimes Homicide Unit’s hard work in solving this case and pursuing justice for the victim.”

Local authorities do not actually know why the woman ended up being poisoned and claimed that the investigation was still being carried out.

Historically, poison is most well-known to use as a weapon which is preferred by female killers, but statistics have recently shown that the majority of murderers convicted of poisoning their victims are men, explained a report from Wired. Despite that, if women do elect to murder, poison is normally their primary vector of doing so.
