Report Claims Hunter Biden Had A Dust Up With News Network Host

The feud between Hunter Biden and CNN’s Jake Tapper has taken a dramatic and deeply personal turn, with new revelations exposing years of animosity, confrontation, and mutual disdain—culminating in a rare and fiery interview where Hunter confirms what Tapper still firmly denies.

At the center of the controversy is a claim by Hunter Biden that, in 2015, while his brother Beau Biden lay dying of brain cancer at Walter Reed, Tapper repeatedly called him, seeking comment or information. According to Hunter, it was one of the most harrowing moments of his life, and he finally snapped—allegedly telling Tapper during a call from a blocked number:

“Go f–k yourself, Jake.”

That moment, Hunter said in an interview with Breaker, has haunted him ever since:

“It would be impossible to forget or misremember something that upsetting and out of line during one of the toughest moments of my life. It happened. I was furious.”

But Tapper has forcefully denied the story, calling it a “patently false lie.” He claims he never called Hunter—never even had his number—and says he would never invade a family’s privacy during such a devastating time.

According to multiple witnesses, tensions boiled over in 2018 at a Super Bowl party in Minneapolis, where Hunter allegedly confronted Tapper face-to-face. In that heated moment, sources say Hunter put his arm around Tapper and allegedly told him:

“I would knock you out if we weren’t in public.”

Tapper confirmed that an awkward exchange occurred, but said it was about coverage of Hunter’s drug use and divorce, which he maintains he never reported on. From Tapper’s point of view, Hunter’s anger was misdirected, possibly shaped by the swirl of negative press and scandal that had engulfed the former second son.

Fast-forward to 2025, and Tapper is once again at the center of Biden-world controversy—this time as co-author of “Original Sin,” the explosive book that chronicles Joe Biden’s mental decline and the internal dysfunction of his White House. Promoting the book this week, Tapper didn’t hold back on Hunter either, calling him:

“Demonstrably unethical, sleazy, and prone to horrible decisions.”

Tapper even went further, criticizing Hunter’s central role in the Biden family, describing him as an informal “chief of staff” to the president—a stunning assessment given the mounting allegations surrounding Hunter’s personal behavior and foreign business dealings.

“After his brother died, he cheated on his wife with his brother’s widow and then got her addicted to crack,” Tapper said. “That’s just one thing I could say.”

Tapper emphasized he barely knows Hunter personally, having only met him once or twice.
