Elon Musk And Dinesh D’Souza Speak Up On Why Left-Wing Accounts Are Not Coming Back To Twitter

This past Tuesday, new Twitter CEO Elon Musk and Famed Filmmaker Dinesh D’Souza came together to offer up a responsible explanation for just why leftists were not being let back onto the Twitter platform —  or if they had been, why there had not been more talk about it.

As part of a short back and forth on the recently purchased platform of the social media titan, the pair of men finally concluded that leftists were not being let back on the Twitter platform because for the most part they had not been banned from using it in the first place.

“We don’t hear much about Democrats and leftists being let back on Twitter. Why? Because they were never kicked off in the first place. Their lies and misinformation simply escaped all scrutiny. Censorship has been deployed as a one-way operation against conservatives,” stated D’Souza in a social media post in which he tagged Elon Musk.

A large number of Democrats were quick to rush over and respond to the tweet, making the argument that it was just that conservatives were more likely to wind up banned due to being much more likely to stand in violation of the rules on the platform or to take part in “hate speech.” Many others made the argument that the banning of conservatives was entirely acceptable due to what they thought was a fact in the idea that Republicans were the only party involved in an alleged attempt to overthrow the government.

However, Musk quickly showed up and seemed to be of the same mindset as D’Souza, answering simply: “Correct.”

Recently, Musk has found himself being attacked over the past few days for once again allowing various accounts to resume their work on the platform — top among these include the account of Dr. Jordan Peterson and the satirical news site The Babylon Bee — in a move that has quite clearly earned the ire of Brandy Zadrozny, a reporter for NBC News.

Zadrozny, while talking about the shooting which took place this past weekend at Club Q, an LGBTQ club located in Colorado, argued in the same vein as many Democrats throughout the modern media and in Washington, that mean rhetoric from the right is the main reason the shooting took place at all.

Hateful and violent online rhetoric targeting LGBTQ people has been ratcheting up for months. Now, just hours after a deadly mass shooting at #ClubQ, the worst of these hate accounts, LibsofTikTok is targeting another drag event in Colorado,” explained the reporter in a social media post.

The concluded her rant by going a step further, making the claim that by allowing these accounts back on the platform, Musk was actively aiding in the spread of hate speech that she claimed caused this type of violence.

“A lot of folks suggesting Elon Musk should ‘do something’ about hate and harassment against LGBT people. But he has. Two days ago, he reinstated Babylon Bee and Jordan Peterson, seemingly reversing policy against hate and harassment targeting trans people,” she concluded.

In response to the reporter’s insane rant, the editor-in-chief for The Daily Caller, Geoff Ingersoll, offered a counterpoint that the reporter had everyone backward. “Bee named an incompetent trans public official ‘man of the year’ and Peterson deadnamed a celebrity in the course of criticizing elective surgery,” he stated. “Suspending folks from the public square for criticizing the most privileged people in our society is anti-democratic, flat out.”

Ingersoll summarized by explaining that the only actual “crimes” carried out by The Bee and Peterson came down to just having a different opinion and speaking aloud about it.
