Donald Trump almost broke the internet this past Sunday when he showed up for a shift at a Pennsylvania McDonald’s, working the drive-thru window in a campaign stunt that did more than just serve up burgers—it served up some serious shade directed at Vice President Kamala Harris.

The event not only brought attention to Trump’s easy connection with everyday Americans, but it also underscored lingering allegations that Harris embellished her work history by falsely claiming she worked at a McDonald’s during her college years.
Trump’s entrance was classic—walking into the restaurant with his signature confidence, greeting everyone with a casual “Hello everybody,” before slipping into a McDonald’s apron, ready to take orders. When asked what his favorite menu item was, he didn’t miss a beat, saying, “I like it all… but I do like the french fries.”
Are you not going to point out that their statement is a lie and that the answers were not the “same?”
They copied and pasted a completely different answer to cover up Harris’ fumbling. You should be all over this as a media “watch dog” instead of carrying their water. https://t.co/CNIf0JzloP

But the moment took a turn toward political theatrics when Trump couldn’t resist poking fun at Harris’s alleged comments about working at the fast-food chain. Mimicking her supposed struggles, Trump mocked her, saying, “I listen to Kamala, she said, ‘it was so hot. It was such a tough job,’” as he recalled her apparent remarks about frying fries.
The dig wasn’t just about calling Harris’s past into question—it was a way for Trump to highlight a key difference between himself and Harris.

While she’s often seen as aloof or out of touch, Trump was there in the trenches, engaging with working-class voters, serving up fries with a smile. The crowd loved it, and social media exploded with clips of Trump in action, driving home his populist image that Harris just can’t seem to match.
Dems going on TV and admitting they think Harris is just lying to get elected is becoming a trend. https://t.co/Gd1dWojtjR
