It’s getting harder by the day to take the Left’s “party of violence” accusations seriously when the headlines keep writing themselves. From the attempted assassination of Rep. Steve Scalise at a congressional baseball game, to the tragic and still-rippling shock of Charlie Kirk’s murder, to the increasingly deranged behavior of protestors at the latest round of “No Kings” rallies—what we’re witnessing is a pattern, not a fluke.
And now, add to that list: Benjamin Michael Campbell.

This Georgia man didn’t just disagree with a Trump sign in a North Carolina yard. He reportedly slammed on his brakes, ripped it down, and then—because apparently that’s not unhinged enough—fired shots at the homeowner from the sunroof of his moving car. The video evidence was so damning that Campbell was tracked down, arrested, and extradited from Georgia. Charges include felony assault with intent to kill and discharging a firearm to incite fear—not your typical “spirited disagreement.”
Let’s be crystal clear: political violence of any kind should be condemned, no matter where it comes from. But the selective outrage on the Left is stunning. When the roles are reversed, even a finger pointed in the wrong direction becomes a media frenzy. But when it’s a conservative or a Trump supporter on the receiving end, the story either disappears quietly or gets sanitized as an isolated act of “distress.”

But this isn’t isolated. It’s becoming common—and that’s the problem.
As The Morning Spew aptly pointed out, there’s something pathetically comedic in the way these incidents unfold. Like moths to a bug zapper, these activists—so hopped up on their imagined moral superiority—can’t help but lunge headfirst into chaos. They think they’re fighting fascism, but they look more like walking proof of what happens when ideological obsession overrides basic decency.
He was 5’6”. They should charge him as a juvenile.

Is it disturbing? Absolutely. But the absurdity is hard to ignore.
The guy who fired shots at a man over a yard sign probably saw himself as standing up to tyranny. Instead, he landed himself in jail and became another example in a growing ledger of leftist meltdowns turned criminal.
Some would say the poor fool was bus-ted.
