Americans are receiving a half-billion dollars in the mail from President Trump.
About 950,000 people in 30 states will get $500 each. They could arrive as early as this week. The New York Post reported the details of the rollout.
The Daily Caller confirmed the Treasury Department is sending the cash. Each check comes with a signed letter from the president. This is not a new idea. Trump announced it on September 10 during the Republican midterm convention.
Not every state is included. Residents in Florida, Iowa, Michigan, North Carolina, Ohio, and Texas will receive funds. New York Post lists these states specifically.
President Donald J. Trump announces $500 rebate checks to nearly 1 million hardworking Americans who were wrongly overcharged through Obamacare.

States with their own exchanges like California, New York, and Pennsylvania will not get checks. The New York Post noted this exclusion clearly.
A White House official told USA Today about who qualifies. About 400% of the poverty line is earned by most recipients. That is $64,000 for one person or $132,000 for a family of four.
These people paid for their own insurance without federal help. They were the ones paying the fees.
This month, Vice President JD Vance declared a crackdown on alleged fraud. He said the government saved $2.2 billion by removing 750,000 users suspected of fraud.
Trump wrote a letter to explain why. He says the money was taken wrong. The Biden administration overcharged you for years to fund the operation of HealthCare.gov. Hard-working Americans own that money, not the Government, and now I’m returning it to you.
That quote comes directly from the letter sent out this week.
The Daily Caller reports the letter calls the previous system a disaster. It says households were “massively overcharged, to put it mildly.”
Trump stated the fees totaled over 500 million dollars. He claims families were forced to pay excessive amounts.
The people who were wrongly ripped off are receiving the money back because our Administration is doing the right thing.
This is the core message. The administration says it is restoring affordability.
Trump also endorsed a new healthcare bill known as The Great Healthcare Plan. He says he will keep fighting to protect hard-earned money. The money goes back to the people. Now you are finally receiving something back after contributing to this flawed System.
This refund is separate from other promises. It is not the $5,000 check Trump vowed for the midterms. It is a specific return of overcharged fees.
