Dr. Robert Redfield, the former director of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention explained this past Wednesday that American tax dollars were utilized to fund the gain of function research that took place within the Wuhan Institute of Virology that ended up creating, and subsequently leaking, the COVID virus.
While giving a statement to the House Oversight Select Subcommittee regarding the Coronavirus Pandemic, Redfield elected to double down on his history of standing against the collective narrative that COVID ended up being transmitted to humans from a bat and further went on to testify that new scientific research seems to indicate that one of the most infectious viruses. which has ended up impacting close to seven million lives across the globe, most likely ended up being leaked out of the Chinese Communist Party run-lab which is located within the center of the Chinese city of Wuhan.
After a number of members from the subcommittee raised numerous issues regarding the origins of COVID, Rep. Nicole Malliotakis (R-NY) spoke up about the likelihood of American tax dollars actually funding the gain of function research which created the virus.
“I think it did,” explained Redfield. “Not only from [National Institute of Health] but from the State Department, USAID, and from [Department of Defense].”

House Repubcalins set up a hearing after officials with the U.S. Energy Department revised a document that expressed with quite “low confidence” that the virus did actually leak from a Chinese laboratory.
Just recently, New classified intelligence offered to the White House and several prime members of Congress highlighted that Energy Department officials had altered their assessment of the origins of the pandemic in an updated report from 2021 issued by Director of National Intelligence Avril Haines’s office.
The newly updated classified report also backs up the view that COVID did not actually stem from work on a biological weapons program. A complete lack of definitive animal sources has caused a number of researchers and officials within the U.S. to think that the events started with a leak from the assemblage of laboratories in Wuhan.
The subcommittee has also set out a new memo as of Sunday which claimed that additional evidence has suggested that National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases Dr. Anthony Fauci “prompted the drafting” of “Proximal Origin” as a means to try and downplay the theory that the events stemmed from a lab leak, which Redfield downplayed as an entirely “inaccurate paper” created solely to give a rallying point for a constructed narrative about the origins of the Virus being a Wuhan based wet market.
The gathered evidence was looked over by the GOP-led Select Subcommittee regarding the Coronavirus Pandemic members shows Fauci and a group of at least 12 other scientists, which includes former National Institute of Health director Dr. Francis Collins, were given ample warning about the virus that had possibly leaked out fo a lab located in the central Chinese city of Wuhan via a conference call that happened during the starting days of the pandemic.
Redfield concluded that he thinks both Fauci and Collins excluded him from these conference calls intentionally.
“I was quite upset as the CDC director that I was excluded in those discussions,” he stated. “Why would they do this? Because I had a different point of view, and I was told they made a decision that they would keep this confidential.”
