For years, USAID operated in the shadows, doling out tens of billions of taxpayer dollars under the guise of “foreign assistance” while most Americans had no idea what it was actually funding. That ignorance is over. With President Trump’s administration cracking down, USAID is finally being exposed—and the left is losing its mind over it.
Let’s get one thing straight: USAID was never a charity, and it certainly wasn’t just about helping the poor or promoting American interests abroad. If it were, there wouldn’t be panic and outrage from every Democrat in Washington the moment its funding was frozen.
JUST IN: Rep. Ilhan Omar goes on an unhinged rant claiming that Trump is a dictator because he’s trying to save money and get rid of government corruption.

Instead, USAID has long been a financial black hole, funneling billions into left-wing pet projects, political interference, and outright corruption—all under the radar, until now.
That’s why, when Elon Musk and the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) started investigating on Friday, it didn’t take long before Secretary of State Marco Rubio stepped in as Acting Director and froze the money spigot. Now, Democrats and their media allies are in full meltdown mode because they know what’s coming next: accountability.
At Monday’s White House press briefing, Karoline Leavitt faced an onslaught of loaded questions from a press corps desperate to defend USAID. But instead of playing defense, she dropped a bombshell list of the outrageous and absurd projects USAID has been funding with American tax dollars:
- $1.5 million to promote DEI in Serbian workplaces
- $70,000 for a DEI musical in Ireland
- $47,000 for a transgender opera in Colombia
- $32,000 for a transgender comic book in Peru
You read that correctly. While Americans struggle with inflation, USAID has been busy bankrolling leftist propaganda projects around the globe.
“I don’t know about you, but as an American taxpayer, I don’t want my dollars going toward this crap,” Leavitt declared. “And I know the American people don’t either.”
Need more evidence USAID was a big money laundering scheme? Listen to @PressSec list a few places they spent your $.

And she’s exactly right. There is no justification for these grants. None. What possible benefit does a transgender comic book in Peru bring to American national security? What does a DEI musical in Ireland do for America’s global standing? To be blunt, these projects sound so ridiculous that it raises an even bigger question: Was this money even being spent on what USAID claimed?
Because let’s face it—when a U.S. agency claims it’s sending millions to foreign organizations for “social justice” initiatives, it starts looking less like waste and more like money laundering.
The left knows it, too. That’s why they’re screaming bloody murder about USAID’s collapse—because they’ve lost a key financial arm of their global agenda.
