It has long been suspected that the Biden Crime Family has had a hand in some shady and corrupt dealings. Now, thanks to Devon Archer’s recent testimony in Congress, further evidence of the involvement of former Vice President Joe Biden and son Hunter in some questionable overseas business deals has come to light.
Democrats are quick to downplay Archer’s testimony, insisting that while President Biden may have sat in on a few phone conversations, he had “no involvement” in his son’s business activities. While the President remarkably claimed back in 2019 that he had “never spoken to my son about his overseas business dealings”, Archer pointed out that Hunter would oftentimes put his father on the phone during business calls.
Rep. Dan Goldman, a Democrat from California, even went so far as to posit that Archer’s testimony “cleared” President Biden of any involvement. What Goldman failed to mention, however, is that the notion that President Biden had no involvement in Hunter’s dealings is miles away from the truth.
Americans are all too familiar with the corruption that has long plagued the Biden family. With Archer’s testimony, the case for “pay-to-play” linked to Hunter’s business dealings is getting much stronger. As a former federal prosecutor, it’s clear to me that this evidence, under any definition of “involvement”, has given us insight into the Biden family’s questionable activities.
Adding further fuel to the fire is President Biden’s threat, back in 2018, that he would withhold $1 billion in US aid from Ukrainian officials if they did not fire a prosecutor who was looking into Hunter’s business activities. The fact that Biden has recently been criminally indicted on several counts of abuse of power – in what many see as an attempt to prevent him from running for re-election in 2024 – only serves to reinforce the perception of corruption.
Republicans in Congress are rightly continuing to investigate this subject, even if it leads all the way to the Oval Office, and yet they are being branded as launching a mean-spirited and politically motivated campaign. The truth is, the Biden Crime Family would not been allowed to get away with corruption for so long were it not for a compliant and willing media.
Rather than the “illusion of influence” that the Democrats are so desperately clinging to, it’s clear that Hunter has been using his access to his father – who is now the most powerful man in the world – to line his own pockets while exploiting his position for personal gain. And, as my friend David Harsanyi states, Biden is either “allowing himself to be used” for the benefit of Hunter, or, more insidiously, is “exerting the force of the US government to enact policy that helps enrich his family.”
The time for covering up for the Biden Crime Family is coming to an end. It’s time for Congress to put an end to the corruption and start holding the Bidens accountable. It’s time to let America know that no one is above the law.
