Joe Rogan stated via his podcast this week that he would not take part in an interview with Russian President Vladimir Putin even if Putin offered to personally fly him out to Russia in order for the two to meet up.
Rogan issued his statements on the subject as part of an episode of “The Joe Rogan Experience” while talking with famed comedian Bert Kreischer.
When questioned about if he would think about meeting Putin if Putin set up a meeting for the pair, Rogan answered, “Nay.”
“Are you out of your f***ing mind?” stated Rogan. “‘Hey, forget about all those people that you killed that were your political opponents. Let’s be cool now. Just be a different person now. Be a totally different human with a totally different background that wasn’t in the KGB, that isn’t a dictator, that doesn’t control information and control what news gets distributed to your people.’”
Rogan stated that it was actually fascinating to him just how former President Donald Trump took time to meet with Kim Jong-un, the dictator of North Korea.
“After he called him ‘Little Rocket Man’ — goes to meet him,” remembered Rogan about the meeting. “Shakes his hand. They’re all smiling. That’s an awful game.”
“I mean, if you’re the President of the United States like Trump, but you’re trying to make, you know, foreign relationships better, you’re supposed to do that — it’s also the f***ing mocking glare that Trump gives everyone,” Rogan went on. “When Trump’s talking to someone, it’s always like, ‘Be nice or I’m going to talk s***.’”
Rogan went on to state that despite the issues that the U.S. has been dealing with, it is still by and far the best country to live in on the planet.
“The way this country is run, it’s not perfect, but the way this country is run is so f***ing superior to any system that is anywhere else in the world,” he stated. “Because of the checks and balances that were put in place by the Founding Fathers.”
