Patty Morin Visits White House

Yesterday, the mother of a murdered American citizen stood in the White House Briefing Room, face to face with a nation that has largely ignored her pain. Patty Morin, whose daughter Rachel Morin—a Maryland mother of five—was brutally raped and murdered by an illegal immigrant from El Salvador, gave an unflinching account of the tragedy. She laid bare the consequences of lawless borders and leadership that refuses to act. And what did two of the country’s most prominent cable news networks do?

They ignored her. CNN and MSNBC never aired a second of it.

Let that sink in.

This wasn’t a partisan press stunt. This was a grieving mother describing, in horrific detail, what happens when the federal government fails its most basic duty: to protect its citizens. And the mainstream press had zero interest. Why? Because the facts shatter their narrative.

Rachel Morin was murdered by an illegal alien, one with a criminal history and MS-13 gang ties. That individual should never have been in this country. His presence here was a direct consequence of lax immigration enforcement and an administration that treats deportation like a political liability rather than a public necessity.

And as Sen. Chris Van Hollen (D-MD) was flying to El Salvador in an astonishing attempt to lobby for the return of another deported MS-13 gang member—Kilmar Abrego Garcia, the Trump administration released damning new documents confirming Garcia’s gang affiliation. A strategic masterstroke, yes—but more importantly, a moment that completely torched the Democrats’ delusional narrative.

Garcia was never a “Maryland man.” He was a known gang member, validated by U.S. law enforcement, denied bond, flagged as a danger to the community, and ultimately deported under the Alien Enemies Act. The media spent days propping him up as a victim, a pawn of Trump’s immigration crackdown. Then, when the truth came out, they went silent.

FCC Chairman Brendan Carr said it best: outlets like those under Comcast’s umbrella spent days misleading the public, portraying Garcia as a law-abiding immigrant. Then, when the truth exploded, they chose not to correct the record. They chose to suppress it. That’s not journalism. That’s propaganda. And it runs counter to the legal obligations placed on federally licensed broadcasters to serve the public interest.

This wasn’t just newsworthy—it was essential. A sitting senator interfering in a deportation case involving a verified MS-13 member is a scandal of its own. But ignoring a grieving mother because her story undermines your political talking points? That’s a betrayal of the American people.

The refusal to air Morin’s testimony is just a symptom of a deeper sickness in America’s media and political class. They’re not just ignoring the consequences of illegal immigration—they’re actively enabling it. Why? Because the long game is census-based political power. More illegal immigrants = more representation = more safe blue districts. It’s not a bug. It’s the plan.

And if innocent Americans like Rachel Morin have to die for that plan? The left appears ready to accept that cost. But Americans are not.
